At ChartHop, we’re always working to make it easier for organizations to manage their people function and business data in one place. This month’s updates focus on giving you more visibility into time off, help finding information quicker, and making AI-powered insights even more useful.

Get Clarity on Time Off Display and Balance Details

Time off policies are more than just numbers – they’re a key factor in keeping your employees knowledgeable and up to date on how they can R&R. With the latest enhancements, admins can now control exactly how time off appears to employees: set display names, add guidelines, reorder policies, and adjust defaults to for your org’s needs. 

We also introduced two new ways to better understand balances: 

  • Balances Tab – A clear, spreadsheet-style view of every employee’s balances. See balances as of a specific date or projected through year-end.

  • Balance Details – A deeper dive into a log of every request and adjustment, so you always know how each balance was calculated

Search That’s 3 Times Faster

For many of you, search is one of the most-used features in ChartHop. We’ve made it 3x faster and improved results ranking – especially for large organizations – so you can get the right answer in less time. You can now search by all names (preferred and legal) as well as by email, making it easier than ever to find exactly who you’re looking for

Keep the Conversation Going with Ask ChartHop Chat History 

AI-powered insights are even more useful when you can pick up right where you left off. With Ask ChartHop Chat History, you can now access previous AI threads, whether they were started from Ask ChartHop directly or through Insight and Analysis buttons.

  • Post follow-up questions or clarifications without losing context.
  • Delete any past exchange you don’t want saved.

It’s a faster, smarter way to keep AI working alongside you in everyday workflows.

From Feedback to Feature

Here are four product updates aimed to make workflows smoother – all based on real feedback from our users. 

Reassign Tasks - Pending tasks for form submissions, signature, time off request and general tasks can now be reassigned both within a survey or review or on the general tasks page.

Edit time off requests - Employees can now edit their own future time off requests, automatically triggering re-approval workflow when needed. Admins can edit all time off requests with the HRIS module. 

Edit and delete scenario and comp reviews comments - The author or a comment can now edit and delete their comments across scenarios and compensation reviews. Admins can delete any scenario and comp review comments, as well. (Headcount Planning and Compensation Reviews Modules)

Partial group approvals - Requiring a minimum or specific number of users to approve within a set group is now configurable in approval workflows setup.
